What does it mean to you to be quirky and what do you love about it?
To be quirky is to live your life to the fullest. To perform on your own terms. To wake up and know each day is yours to fill with the most interesting experiences life has to offer.

What’s a secret, unusual talent that you have?
I sing old crooner love songs in the shower and this Fall I’m debuting my very own cabaret based on tunes by the Rat Pack.

:: Quest ::

Where do you find your mojo?
In conversations with passionate individuals, walking through mid-century modern architecture, the streets of NYC, and driving along Pacific Coast Highway. Inspiration comes from all around.

Explain one experiment you’ve done that changed your life:
No cigarettes. I haven’t smoked in 2 years and I feel like i’m on top of the world.

What’s your favorite recent discovery for…
Your home: Tempaper wallpaper (it’s so easy to install without the mess!)
Your body: Baby oil—rub on your elbows and heels just before stepping out of the shower and they won’t dry out during the day.
Your belly: Le Pain Quotidien’s Vegan Kale Cesar Salad–the spicy dressing is delectable!
Your soul: This is an oldie but goodie. Chatting with my best friends about life, love, and business. There is always something new to learn from them as we share our life journeys.
Music: I’m quite obsessed with Lorde’s song Royals. It’s just so good!
Writing: Nothing yet, but I definitely need to write more.
Art: The American Folk Art Museum has an amazing collection of Outsider Art. True quirky artists!

:: Mission ::

How do you celebrate the deliciousness of being quirky?
I don’t apologize for being my quirky self and I am not afraid to follow my heart’s desires. I surround myself with others who value creativity, hard work, and positivity.

What is your #1 tip for a fellow quirkster?
Follow your passions and your life purpose will follow.
